Servo Motor Manufacturer & Model
e.g. Yaskawa SGMJV-04ADE6S. We look up the shaft diameter, flange, and rated speed — this alone narrows the adapter ring selection.

Required Output Torque (Nm) + Duty Cycle
Peak torque (T_max) and mean load torque (T_mean). Specify S1 (continuous) or S5 (intermittent, include ED%). This determines the correct frame size and whether the FPG economy series or a premium series is needed.

Required Gear Ratio (i)
Exact ratio required, or motor speed and load speed so we can calculate. If a non-standard ratio is needed (e.g. i=21 for FPD pitch matching), state it — the EP-FAD/FADS special ratios may cover it.

Required Output Interface
Inline shaft, right-angle, round flange, square flange, integrated timing belt pulley, or direct-insert adapting flange. This is the single biggest driver of series selection.

Positioning Accuracy Requirement
If backlash grade matters, state the maximum allowable backlash in arc-min. P0 (≤1 arc-min), P1 (≤3 arc-min), or P2 (≤5 arc-min). If backlash is not the constraint, the FPG economy series (≤8 arc-min) may be appropriate.

Operating Environment
Operating temperature range (if below 0°C, NYOGEL 792D and IP65 premium series are required), presence of coolant or washdown, and whether the installation is indoor or outdoor.

Frequently Asked Before Ordering

Do you supply motor adapter rings for my specific servo motor?
Yes. The EP-series clamp-ring adapter system (C1–C10) covers Siemens 1FT6/1FK7, Yaskawa Sigma-5/7, Mitsubishi HG-SR/KR, Panasonic MHMD/MHME, and hundreds of additional servo motor flanges. Provide your motor model number in your enquiry and we confirm the correct adapter ring from our catalogue. Custom adapter rings for non-standard motor flanges are available — allow 2–3 weeks additional lead time.
What is the typical lead time from order to delivery?
Standard P1 and P2 grade units in the EP-FAB, EP-FAD, EP-FAL, and EP-FPG/FPGA series are typically held in stock and ship within 5–10 business days from confirmed payment. P0 ultra-precision grade units require 2–4 weeks manufacturing time depending on frame size and series. Special ratios (i=16/21/31/61/91 in EP-FAD/FADS) and OEM custom units require 3–6 weeks. Lead times are confirmed in the quotation.
Can you supply an individual test report for each gearbox?
Yes. Every EP-series gearbox undergoes individual backlash measurement (at 2% rated torque), loaded noise/vibration test, and IP65 pneumatic seal pressure test before shipment. The measured backlash value and test pass/fail records are available on request. For OEM customers requiring full traceability documentation (gear grinding batch records, CMM reports), please specify this requirement when placing the order.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard series (EP-FAB, EP-FAD, EP-FAL, EP-FPG/FPGA) in P1 and P2 grades, there is no minimum order quantity — single units are available for prototype and qualification. For P0 ultra-precision grade, the MOQ is typically 1 unit with 2–4 weeks lead time. OEM / custom configurations (special ratios, modified housings, private label) have a minimum of 10 units; please enquire for volume pricing.
Do you offer OEM or private-label gearboxes?
Yes. Korea Ever-Power provides full OEM and ODM services including custom bore diameters, special gear ratios, modified housing geometry, custom output shaft configurations, and private-label nameplates. OEM customers can also request custom adapter ring designs for non-standard motor flanges. All OEM requests are handled under NDA — your product specifications are not shared. Minimum quantities and lead times vary by configuration; contact [email protected] with your requirements.
I need a gearbox that's not in the standard series — is customisation possible?
Before requesting full custom design, check the EP-FADS (adapting-flange direct-insert input), EP-FAL (integrated timing belt pulley), and EP-FAD special ratios — these cover many "custom" requirements within a standard production product. If none of the eight series fits, we can evaluate a custom configuration: modified housing length, alternative output flange bolt pattern, or a bespoke gear ratio.
